Backend Engineer (India)

VectorShift is revolutionizing the AI automation landscape with their No-Code Generative AI Platform. As a Backend Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of distributed systems infrastructure and AI, working on critical aspects of VectorShift's product lines.

Your role will involve improving workflow run efficiency and scalability, integrating cutting-edge AI developments into the platform, and managing database infrastructure. You'll work directly with the founders to conceptualize and implement features end-to-end, while making crucial technical architecture decisions to ensure platform scalability and maintainability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building integrations with 3rd party applications
• Engaging with customers to understand pain points and iterate on feature requests
• Contributing to customer support for products you build
• Staying current with AI developments to integrate new capabilities
• Driving performance optimization
• Establishing foundational technical practices

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in a technical discipline, preferably computer science
• Experience with Python/FastAPI
• Strong understanding of performance optimization
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

Additional valuable experience includes:

• Early-stage startup experience
• No/low-code platform familiarity
• AI, machine learning, and RAG workflow expertise
