Responsibilities For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

  • Provide automation/mechanical technical support for troubleshooting during commissioning and qualification
  • Execute commissioning and qualification testing on equipment
  • Provide technical support for integration of the line with site automation systems
  • Perform source code review and code management for manufacturing equipment
  • Update technical design documentation
  • Support site engineering initiatives
  • Serve as key resource for site engineering groups
  • Communicate continuous improvement solutions
  • Troubleshoot issues and be primary point of contact

Requirements For Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical parenteral manufacturing
  • Experience with programming automated equipment including vision systems, assembly lines, Fanuc robotics
  • Knowledge of documentation management and test case execution
  • Ability to program Rockwell PLC, FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems
  • Experience with mechanical assembly machines, pneumatics, instrumentation, electrical drawings
  • Experience working with vendors/OEM personnel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Onsite work requirements at Concord, NC facility
