Founding Engineer - Viewpoints AI

Viewpoints AI is a PearX-backed startup pioneering innovative research in comparing AI and human responses across marketing studies. We're seeking a Founding Engineer to spearhead the development of our groundbreaking study simulation platform. As the first engineering hire, you'll have unprecedented autonomy in technical decisions and direct impact on the company's foundation.

The role demands an exceptional engineer capable of owning the entire technical stack, from architecture decisions to implementation. Working directly with the founder, you'll transform our current prototype into a robust, scalable platform while setting the technical direction for future growth. The current stack includes Flask and Vue.js, but you'll have the freedom to choose the best technologies for our needs.

Your responsibilities will span from architecting the core simulation engine to implementing critical infrastructure and creating an intuitive frontend experience. You'll be instrumental in developing statistical analysis capabilities, optimizing LLM API integrations, and establishing the engineering culture for future team members.
