Responsibilities For Associate Data Engineer

  • Create data technology stack for end-user insights
  • Build internal data pipeline
  • Construct ETL processes and database queries
  • Write efficient, organized, simple and scalable code
  • Deliver end-to-end JIRA User stories
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for different business units
  • Participate in QA testing for data pipeline projects
  • Monitor batch data loads to meet SLAs
  • Resolve production issues quickly

Requirements For Associate Data Engineer

Python
Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology
  • 1-4 years of experience in data engineering
  • Knowledge of supporting data sets for Transactions business
  • Experience with SQL, Python, AWS Glue
  • Experience with MPP databases (Teradata & Snowflake)
  • Knowledge of Snowpipe, tasks, streams, clustering, Time travel, Cache, data sharing
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (git, bitbucket, Jenkins)
  • Experience with automation and scheduling tools (Redwood, Airflow)
  • Must be comfortable working in Linux/Unix environment
  • Ability to work in second shift
