Responsibilities For Senior Audio Software Engineer

  • Participate in all parts of the development process from concept through to live-ops
  • Collaborate with audio design and engineering team to architect and develop high quality game code
  • Design and develop game audio systems and features
  • Support and maintain existing tools and game code
  • Perform peer code reviews and champion code excellence
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Self-manage programming tasks and coordinate with production team
  • Work with design and product teams for feature viability and risk assessment

Requirements For Senior Audio Software Engineer

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Experience on at least two successfully published game titles
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
  • Strong 3D Math skills
  • Knowledge of audio and state-of-the-art audio technologies
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills
  • Clear communication skills
