Description For Software Engineer

Warp is revolutionizing the command line experience for modern developers and teams. As a Software Engineer at Warp, you'll work on re-imagining a product used by every developer daily. You'll tackle challenging technical problems, participate in all aspects of software development, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, coding, reviewing, testing, and documenting software
  • Building new features and improving existing ones
  • Fast prototyping and researching industry trends
  • Working across the entire technical stack
  • Mentoring peers and building strong team connections

We're looking for candidates who are:

  • Passionate about helping developers be more productive
  • Product and user-focused with strong engineering skills

  • Sensitive to developers' needs

Bonus skills include experience with:

  • Building native apps in Rust or WASM
  • Shell or Linux programming
