Lead Product Software Engineer

You'll work in a distributed team across Netherlands, East-Europe, and India, primarily focusing on backend service development while handling some frontend tasks.

The project's architecture spans multiple domains including a frontend portal (JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular), a control plane with microservices (Java/MySQL/JavaScript/TypeScript), and data planes with gateways (Envoy/Lua/Java/Kubernetes/Redis). You'll be responsible for developing new features, maintaining existing code, writing tests, and participating in the full software development lifecycle.

As a Lead Product Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in design decisions, estimation, implementation, and delivery of the system. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 8 days per month in the office at Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including cloud services (AWS/Azure), containerization (Kubernetes), and modern observability tools.
