Description For Associate Software Developer (Outsystems)

Xcellink Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Junior/Associate Software Developer specializing in OutSystems to join their Enterprise Operations and Services team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level developers to grow while building enterprise applications. The position focuses on OutSystems development with exposure to various technologies including JavaScript, .NET, and databases. The role combines hands-on development with mentored learning, making it ideal for those starting their software development career. The position includes government funding support through the IMDA-CLT Program for eligible Singaporean/PR candidates.

Responsibilities For Associate Software Developer (Outsystems)

Assist in developing, testing, and deploying applications using the OutSystems platform under the guidance of senior developers
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
Support the maintenance and optimization of existing applications
Troubleshoot and resolve minor system issues, bugs, and errors
Work on functional components, screens, business logic, and UI elements
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
Document processes, code changes, and user instructions
Stay updated on OutSystems and software development trends

Requirements For Associate Software Developer (Outsystems)

JavaScript

Basic understanding of the OutSystems platform (certification is a plus)
Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, CSS, C# and .NET
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, REST APIs, SOAP)
Proficient in one of the Database languages (MSSQL, Oracle)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies
Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent
