Xcellink Pte Ltd is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support their healthcare sector projects. This role focuses on AWS Cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD implementation, and cloud security. The position involves designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, implementing automation through AWS CDK, managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust security measures. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise, experience with IaC tools, and a background in cloud security. They will be responsible for both technical implementation and documentation, working closely with development and QA teams to maintain and optimize cloud environments. This role offers an opportunity to work on significant healthcare sector projects while applying advanced DevOps practices.
Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer
- Design, implement, test, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or equivalent frameworks
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
- Manage cloud environments including provisioning, deployment, and scaling
- Perform ongoing security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability mitigation, and incident response
- Provide operational support and perform regular maintenance for platform infrastructure
- Create and maintain technical design documentation
- Develop operational runbooks, deployment manuals, and backup/restore plans
- Prepare and update security architecture documentation and related security policies
- Provide technical support and guidance to development and QA teams
Requirements For DevOps Engineer
- Proven experience with AWS Cloud services and architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with IaC tools, particularly AWS CDK
- Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud security best practices
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in healthcare or clinical system infrastructure is a plus
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty) are advantageous
