Zadara is seeking a talented software engineering intern to join their Storage Core engineering team, which is responsible for delivering fully managed edge cloud services. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside senior engineers in developing major components of Zadara's edge cloud solution.
As an intern, you'll be immersed in a diverse technical environment, working with technologies like C/C++, Python, Golang, and gaining exposure to advanced concepts including Virtualization, Object Storage, Compute, Containers, Kubernetes, and Micro-Services. The role offers hands-on experience in building enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.
The position involves working in an agile, cross-geographic team environment where you'll collaborate closely with the Product team and chief architect to design and implement new features while improving product stability and performance. You'll be directly involved in developing and expanding features within the storage product, focusing on robustness, performance, and security. Additionally, you'll work with QA engineers to enhance white box automation testing.
Ideal candidates should be pursuing a BSc/BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with up to one year remaining in their studies. Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with multithreaded programming and distributed systems are essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, independence, creativity, and strong organizational abilities.
