Senior Software Development Engineer, Platform

Zillow's Rental Platform team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to help build the future of Rentals infrastructure. As part of this team, you'll develop and support applications, data pipelines, and infrastructure used by distributed Zillow Group teams working on the customer rental journey. The role focuses on building scalable solutions and ensuring application reliability, working closely with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams.

The position offers the flexibility of remote work from anywhere in Mexico, with a preference for Mexico City for occasional in-office events. You'll be responsible for building developer tooling, supporting self-service environments, and implementing various deployment strategies. The role requires expertise in Java development and platform engineering, with a focus on using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
