Pros: - Chill coworkers and most people who are actually pretty smart and decent to work with - Unlimited AI usage - Remote

Cons: Abnormal has to be one of the worst places that I've worked in terms of pay and engineering practices. - Low base salary - Worthless RSUs that are dual trigger, so even if you spend x amount of time there, your stock doesn't vest without a liquidity event, and the company hasn't had a liquidity event. - AI slop everywhere - Constant outages which result in "PCCMRs," which are a checklist before your service or changes can go to production, but no one actually reads them and outages happen anyways. - Bugs and weak security. For a security product, there is a lack of good security practices and a high amount of bugs.

Pros: Very strong product-market fit, and many nice people.

Cons: The sales department was often pushy and rude, and engineers were promoted beyond their level of competence.
