Pros: Teammates were highly skilled and motivated, and cared about building a good product. - Product itself seems great (customers all love it, and it's ahead of the competition) and the company is likely to go very far - It's a great place to work if you're really into cybersecurity. But if you're primarily into the engineering infrastructure/ML and are not interested in cybersecurity, this might not be the best place.

Cons: - Poor work-life balance (Very noisy on-call rotation, often would have to have Slack convos about work on the weekends/evenings) - Engineers spend a lot of time putting out fires, talking to customers, and doing other non-IC work. Often had to explain to a sales engineer/account executive what to explain to the customer. - Very corporate culture (might be a pro to some). Lots of buzzwords, meetings for meetings' sake, etc.

Pros: The company is growing and customers love the product.

Cons: Don't expect to be promoted unless you're in the detection org. Really mediocre engineering leadership. AI slop is everywhere. Everything is tactical instead of strategic, and engineers can't really own outcomes if anything smells like a long-term technical investment.

Pros: Good pay and good company values

Cons: You'll be working fairly late on some days.
