- Interesting technical challenges that give you room to advocate for yourself and choose projects which interest you.
- Remote first environment.
- Great for eager engineers who want to make an impact.
- Some Staff or Principal engineers are toxic and not enjoyable to be around.
- Long hours. I left Abnormal then was told by my spouse that they were considering divorce due to not spending enough time with my family. Arguably a part of that was me not setting boundaries while working at Abnormal.
- While doing on-call, it is common to work 7 days in a row.
Find a balance that makes Abnormal enjoyable. Do your employees live to work or work to live?
