Pros: Freedom to work from home, and managers are usually concerned about your circumstances and take those into account. Compensation and benefits were the best among IT companies, in my opinion.
Cons: HR is useless. No point arguing with them, as they don't see your side of the picture as your managers would. You have to make the company HR understand the situation, and then they might consider it.
