Pros: You can transfer to another project, which can depend if your manager allows it.
Cons: There is really politics on the upper management, and the promotion you are getting depends on the budget of the project you are in. This is mostly random when you get the job offer from them, since they will handpick from the bench team.

Pros: Great initial training was provided on particular skills. This makes it easy for students from non-IT backgrounds to blend well in an IT company.
Cons: Project allocation is very unplanned and disorganized. Too many employees are kept on the bench for a long time.
