Without a doubt, this has been one of the most unprofessional processes I've encountered since I began working full-time nearly four years ago. I applied to the "Senior AI and Data Strategist" position through an employee referral. The position was in Copenhagen, Denmark.

First two interviews: Both were scheduled for the same day. HR instructed me to prepare for the behavioral part and to create a presentation based on a provided case study. Two particularly unprofessional episodes occurred during this phase:

A. The first interviewer informed me just three hours prior that she'd be joining from home. This forced me to conduct the session remotely from Accenture's office since my next interview was in-person.

B. During the second session, despite the agenda communicated by HR (20-minute presentation + Q&A), the interviewer spontaneously gave me an unexpected case to discuss. This extended our discussion by an extra 15-20 minutes.

Third interview: I was interviewed by a consultant from Accenture. Post-interview, he called to inform me, "We want to hire you" and added that no other candidates were in their current pipeline. Thus, once they identified a good candidate, an offer would be extended. This seemed promising.

Fourth interview: I met with the Managing Director of the team, who told me that my experience didn't align with their focus, particularly within the industry vertical they're targeting. I also discovered other candidates were at the same interview stage.

Additionally, throughout this process, communications from HR were also very messy. There was a change in HR personnel midway, and I have received often incorrect emails regarding the interviews and the schedule, creating confusion on the process and the schedule. Conclusion: It's been such a huge waste of time.

Accenture has demonstrated to be an unprofessional employer. Looking back at my experience, I am very happy that I was not offered a contract.
