Specially the Barclays Mobile Banking App project isn't a great place to work; beware of the leaders. However, you will at least learn 'how not to be a good leader,' but to be honest, you will suffer here.
Trust your team. During my time there, it was biased, gender discrimination was peaking, and the buttering culture is prominent. Coffee breaks, smoke breaks with the boss, and coming back with assigned tasks is not a good culture.
I would suggest the management to improve the culture, assign tasks based on merit, avoid discrimination, trust your team, and avoid micromanagement. It doesn't help.
