Pros

The working environment is very international. If you work with colleagues from other countries, they all work within the same overall "Accenture" mindset, which really helps. Lots of knowledge sharing, and people are not afraid of teaching less experienced colleagues.

Benefits in the Netherlands are really good (benefits depend from country to country).

Cons

Long working hours - not mandatory, but helps if you want to go up the ladder.

It is expected that you prove yourself by taking on roles above your career grade.

You need to "fight" and show your case to get that promotion slot. Even when it's obvious and all your managers believe you should be promoted, it doesn't guarantee you will get it, as you are dependent on slots and possibly other colleagues who are waiting longer than you to get promoted. Salary could also be better.

Advice to Management

Promotions are still a big issue in the company. It's the number one complaint I hear colleagues discussing. Most high performers and best colleagues who have left the company did so because they were not recognized via promotion for their excellent work.
