There are some very strong people, both from a technical and interpersonal POV. Salary is decent. The project is interesting.
It is a huge org with so many folks just bluffing and blustering their way through. It can be a bureaucratic nightmare with some truly insufferable people who don't realize how awful they are at their job. The fact that these people seem to get rewarded is unnerving. Benefits are weak.
Pay attention to the details.
A typical interview process includes these steps: * Application review * Initial screening (phone or video) * Technical/skills assessment * Behavioral interview * Panel interview * Cultural fit discussion * Final round with leadership Post-intervie
It was very easy. Only one technical round was there, and they asked questions related to my project and a few scenario-based questions. Some basic SQL questions and a few Unix commands were also asked.
Three interviews in which I had written that I was available to work as a consultant. In the end, the low offer came for an employment contract. Four of us wasted time.
