Pros

Many technologies are open to learn.

Certifications also depend on where you are, but this is usually the case.

They have internal websites for most situations, for example, for learnings, requesting a certificate of employment, and a social network.

Cons

9 hours + 1 lunch break = 10 hours per day.

Competitors usually have 8 hours + 1 lunch break = 9 hours per day.

You cannot refuse once you have been assigned a technology or client. Refusing will be put on notes for future reference and will be used during salary assessments. Be careful.

During my stay, Accenture was in love with the Lenovo ThinkPad. The problem: the laptop is slow or below specifications in comparison with competitors.

They will force certifications on you, which is fine for the most part. However, if you fail to obtain the certification(s), well, you may not be part of Accenture in the coming days.

When I left Accenture, I realized that I was earning below expectations, because for my next job, I earned 2.3x as much with less responsibilities and more opportunities.

Advice to Management

Almost all management are stuck on a "checkbox." Meaning they have quotas or are being strict with client metrics.

Most are cold-hearted as well. Be on guard.

To those who have been kind during my stay, thank you.

Be less rigid with your fellow coworkers.
