You get to work with some of the biggest clients in the world, working with some really bright people. There are quite a few training opportunities, and generally, people treat you well. Travel can be stressful at times, but there are numerous perks you get in the process that make it worth it.
The performance management process isn't perfect, and is sometimes more political than performance-based.
Hours can be painful at times, although this largely depends on the client and contract structure.
Give people the recognition they deserve, even if it doesn't necessarily mean anything to salary.
