Under-resourced, Too many projects and very little time. A clear definition of expectations for the role, right from the get-go, is needed but was lacking from my viewpoint.
A proper delineation of responsibilities and ownership will help in the long run. Please hire more engineers around building up the platform because that team is in dire need (when I left).
