Product Innovation - Software Engineer Intern Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

April 1, 2013
Positive ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Their recruiter called me, and I told them I was interested.

We scheduled two quick phone interviews with the same person. Both interviews were 45 minutes long, and surprisingly, no coding was involved.

I ended up not receiving an offer. I had prepared for a standard software engineering role and had studied sorting and searching algorithms. The interviews, however, focused heavily on business-related and product-related questions.
