The initial interview was not bad. It focused on different architectures and approaches to them. I was told I did well after that interview.

They asked me to do a homework assignment, which I put a lot of time into (perhaps my mistake). However, there was never a follow-up interview.

I was left with long periods of no update until, finally, after I asked for another status update, they told me they had decided to go with another individual. There was no feedback, no indication of what could be improved.

This left me with a pretty bad taste in my mouth.
