I applied for a position in San Jose, CA online. Subsequently, an HR representative from the Newton, MA office contacted me. This was a win-win situation as I live in Boston and had contacts working for or with the Newton office.
After a phone interview with two managers, I visited the office. There, I gave a presentation of my past work and then participated in video-conference interviews with five individuals.
Everyone seemed interested in my work, and we had a productive series of back-and-forth discussions regarding the current technology used at Adobe and potential future changes.
The interview was not a "cake walk" (for instance, I did have to prepare a presentation). However, I felt engaged with a group of peers rather than conversing with individuals attempting to intimidate me or prove their superior intellect.
