I applied through an online job portal and then received an email for the further process.
The process started on Saturday with two written papers.
First paper was technical. It contained subjective as well as objective questions. The subjectives were very common and easy, and the objectives were mainly of the type: will the program compile or give an error at a specific line, or what will be the output.
Second was quantitative and aptitude. Quant was easy, but aptitude was difficult, and the time was also very limited. It contained questions like seating arrangements according to various rules and then four to five questions based on it. These were CAT-level questions.
Both papers were 45 minutes each.
Please be careful, as in each paper, there are two sections, and there is a sectional cutoff. So, you need to clear all four sections' cutoffs.
After that, those who cleared the written tests were taken upstairs for further interviews.
Four technical rounds were supposed to happen. Out of 18, around 11 cleared the written test.
My two interviews happened that day, and by that time, it was 6 in the evening. So, they told us that the further two technical and one HR interview would be taken on a weekday, and we were all given a slot in which we had to come again for further rounds.
On Saturday, there were now four to five people who had cleared two technical rounds.
Then, I went there again on Wednesday, as it was scheduled for me for further rounds.
I had two technicals and one HR interview that day, but the result was to be announced on Friday.
Mainly in the interviews, they ask about puzzles to check your analytical skills and will give you random things to provide test cases on.
Puzzles were like:
Give test cases for:
A pen
A coffee vending machine
Makemytrip ticket booking test cases
Which Adobe products have you used?
Difficult situation you handled in a project.
Why Adobe?
Print vowels in a string.
Compare two strings and print the common letters only once.
Difference between Windows XP and Windows 7 architecture.
Algorithm for dispensing cash in an ATM machine.
What are registry files in a system?
What happens when you install a software?
What will happen if your app's server crashes?
Do not worry if you are not able to reach the answer because these people only want to check the approach you are using to solve a problem.
Each technical interview will last for an hour.
1.5 hours of tests + 4 hours of interviews and then around 10 minutes of discussion with HR.
This is the total process for them in general cases, and it is really hectic.
On Friday, I got an email that I am selected :)
Thanks to God :)
There was a triangle puzzle. In between two points, an additional point was added, and more triangles were made within that triangle. Then, in another triangle, two additional points were made between two triangle points, and so on. I had to calculate the ratio of points and the number of triangles. I was not able to solve this at all.
