Exciting, interesting technology and products to work on.
Sabbatical plan for each 5 years of service:
ESPP with 2-year look-back and 15% discount. (I heavily rely on this added income in providing for my family of 4 with 1 income. But to get the full benefit, you need to do without 25% income (which is the max contribution level) for at least 6 months between purchase dates.)
Health, dental, and vision benefits are good, but not nearly as comprehensive or affordable as they once were.
Some teams allow people to work remote (like me), which is the #1 benefit by far, but not available to all teams/job roles.
Adobe has grown immensely over my 15+ year tenure, which is a good thing, but it's lost some of the charm and fun that used to be here in the old days as a result. (Especially those under the founders, John and Chuck.) Also, we used to get a lot more in terms of profit sharing, stock options, and other bonuses, which were pretty much all taken away during the recession for the sake of 'cost savings' and then never brought back (as if we would forget after a few years), even as profits and earnings per share soared higher than ever.
Talk to John and Chuck. Ask them what they would do to get back to their original mantra of making Adobe a place where they would want to work and not leave for better offers. Then, do that.
The process went smoothly and I cleared all the rounds, but I didn’t receive an offer in the end because the company informed me that hiring for this role is currently on hold.
Assessment divided into different parts, with a first part of theoretical/practical multiple choice on machine learning, then moving to a coding part where you are asked to program an image classifier and a text classifier in 30 minutes each.
It was mostly based on how Selenium and Pytest work. Expect coding questions from LeetCode ranging from average to hard difficulty levels. Also focus more on network security and system testing.
