Applied through online and had an email invitation for a video call with the recruitment team.
- Asked questions about past projects, what if you had conflict with the lead?
- Why Adyen?
As I was in the video, I could see that the interviewer was not interested in knowing about myself and was rude in certain instances.
- Did not even try to understand my full technical abilities.
- May be they just wanted to show that they interviewed a certain number of candidates to impress management.
- One of the worst experiences I had in my career.
- Did not even bother to share the interview feedback.

Cons: - Very much dominated by office politics and your manager.

Lots of burnouts, which were not cared for at all

Pros: - Really good collaboration with other team members.
- Good lunch and coffee in the office.
Cons: - No accountability for managers: if you had a conflict with one, be ready for layoff or burnout.
- They claim the company has a flat organization, but it’s the opposite. I never met my skip-level manager. She ghosted me a couple of times when I had some problems.
- No career growth, no clear expectations for each level.
- Nearly everyone in the company knows at least one person who burned out, but management is simply closing its eyes to the root cause.

Pros: Very flexible and empathetic. It feels good to work here. There is always something new to learn. Lot of opportunities to move within.
Cons: Career path seems to be a bit vague, which can be both good and bad.
