The interview process started with an exploratory call with a 3rd party HR.

This was followed by a HackerRank test link with 3 DS-Algo questions in 2.5 hours.

Next was an HR interview focusing on interest in the role and Adyen values.

This was followed by 4 face-to-face interviews:

• DS-Algo with a panel of 2 SSEs/TLs
• System Design with a panel of 2 SSEs/TLs
• Behavioral with a panel of 2 Engineering Managers
• Leadership connect behavioral

Following these was an interview debrief, a team matching round with the prospective manager, and offer negotiation.

The process concluded with an offer roll-out.

All the tech questions were somehow related to the Payments domain, although they had similar (not exact) questions on LeetCode.

System design was also related to the Payment domain.

Hackerrank questions not only focused on DS-Algo but also focused on Java concepts and required practical understanding of OOP concepts.
