Software Engineer Interview Experience - Japan

Process

The HR approached me very fast; from submitting my CV until the first interview took only about 1-2 days.

I was interviewed by someone who was in Singapore.

During the interview, he sometimes seemed to be interrupted by his colleagues. It made me very uncomfortable.

He asked me for my current salary and arbitrarily added about 10% to it, then told me that it would be what we can pay you.

Advice: Company and candidate should act like partners, not like giving and begging. The HR should have awareness of who they are in the company. I don't think he is the founder of the company, but he behaved like that. (lol)
