Process
The interview was for the Thailand office.
Firstly, right after my application, I received an email from HR asking me to explain what I liked and disliked about my current organization. They also asked me to rate my Java skills out of 10.
After a week, I received another email stating the schedule for the first round.
The first round was a completely Java coding round using BlueJeans (similar to Skype). I was given an assignment to complete within a day, which I did and submitted.
After completing the assignment, I received an email a week later regarding the second round. This round was mostly about general QA questions and practices.
I was told there would be a cultural round, which would be the third. However, I received an email stating that I had not cleared the second round. Uff.

The best thing is you care for your employees.Cons: Some people at the lower level have fewer chances to grow if there is a transition of managers. I don't see this transfer happening very well. The proficiency of some employees from the past is not noticed by the new manager, which also sometimes makes people feel discouraged from working hard or smart for the company because no one sees it. And some people need to work on tasks they don't like or lack expertise in, but this changes due to higher-level directives. Lower-level employees suffer from this, even when they try. It's like you are not putting the right person in the right job. Then, the best people at Agoda will leave.
