Senior Android Developer Interview Experience - Bangkok, Thailand
Process
Three consecutive rounds of technical interviews, one hour each:
- Android
- DS & Algo
- System Design
First, I did okay in the Android round. I could answer most of the questions, except for a specific bitmap API regarding sampling size.
Second, I did pretty badly. I managed to solve one easy LeetCode problem and took all the time to solve the medium one. There was a moment when I struggled to find a Kotlin method, as I have worked with many languages. The interviewer also didn't know and helped me Google it. In the end, I received feedback that I lacked knowledge of the language, which is funny.
The third round was system design, and I could answer all of the questions.
