After the technical interview, I received a coding challenge from the development manager. I believe I completed the challenge wisely.
I feel I did it successfully because I have passed many coding challenges from leading companies such as Microsoft and Amazon.
After completing the coding challenge, I sent an email to the development manager that I had completed it, but there was no response. After approximately 10 days, I sent another email to inquire if the process was okay and if my work was being evaluated. There was no response again.
Then, I sent another email to the recruiting coordinator regarding the lack of response to submitting my code. She was out of the office, and just after she returned, I received an automated standard email from a no-reply HR email address. The template looked like the emails I received in the first application phases; it is absurd to receive such an email after submitting a coding task.
The email stated, "Thank you for taking the time recently to speak with us," despite me being at the coding challenge phase.
In summary, I spent my hours of coding for nothing. I have a feeling that they forgot to evaluate my code or perhaps did not look at it at all. Also, I should mention that the process was very disorganized and unclear.
Tons of OOP-related questions non-stop in one hour. "What is X?" "What is Y?" I did not see such an interview.
