I applied for this position directly through Agoda's recruiter. He asked me to send my resume so he could determine which open position would be most suitable for me.

One week later, HR organized my first Skype interview. It was a partly technical interview with the Development Manager, which contained common questions about my interest in the position and living in Thailand.

After that, the DM gave me a programming task with a one-week deadline to complete it at home. The task was mostly about working with threads and concurrency and could be done in any programming language.

After the task review, a second Skype interview was arranged, mostly with technical programming questions regarding this home task and the implementation decisions I made.

After the second interview, HR organized the third one, an in-person interview in Bangkok. Agoda paid for my flight tickets, hotels, and transfers to Bangkok.

There were three interviews in one day, each lasting one hour, with three Dev Managers. Different questions about my previous experience and understanding of building applications with microservices architecture were asked. There was also a simple coding task on board.

After I returned to my country, the final Skype call was arranged with details of the proposed offer to me.

Mostly related to understanding distributed systems and implementation of new features for applications with a micro-services architecture.
