A good environment, in terms of international culture, is the best. It moves fast and tries to improve to be the best all the time. The best thing I like here is Agoda always cares how employees feel and heals employees in this hard situation. It also provides even a little prize, event, or WFH additional paid for healing people. The best thing is you care for your employees.
Some people at the lower level have fewer chances to grow if there is a transition of managers. I don't see this transfer happening very well. The proficiency of some employees from the past is not noticed by the new manager, which also sometimes makes people feel discouraged from working hard or smart for the company because no one sees it.
And some people need to work on tasks they don't like or lack expertise in, but this changes due to higher-level directives. Lower-level employees suffer from this, even when they try. It's like you are not putting the right person in the right job. Then, the best people at Agoda will leave.
I believe people in Agoda are experts and doing a great job in their areas of strength. Please be reminded that not all directions might suit all people, even if they can do it; their happiness might decrease. Please put the right man in the right job and be more careful about the mental health of lower levels.
The interview was for the Thailand office. Firstly, right after my application, I received an email from HR asking me to explain what I liked and disliked about my current organization. They also asked me to rate my Java skills out of 10. After a w
Totally the worst experience. If you don't consider me as a candidate, please DO NOT ask me to do an online assessment. I submitted the application on Nov 3, 2025, and completed the OA on Nov 10, 2025, with 70% required time and over 90% test cases.
The interview began with a LeetCode problem round, which served as a good gauge of technical and problem-solving skills. It was a medium-level problem.
