Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California

Process

I completed a phone screen with live coding, followed by a full-day onsite interview.

The phone screen wasn't extremely difficult. It seemed to me that they were looking more for how you solve problems rather than for the actual solutions.

The onsite interview was a mix of cultural and technical interviews. I really enjoyed all of the employees I met with and had a fun time talking with them. The cultural interviews felt more like natural conversations than the traditional question/answer structure. The technical interviews were mostly coding challenges, but they focused more on practical problem solving.

Interviewing truly solidified my appreciation of the company and my desire to work there.
