The recruiter called and set up a phone screen. The interviewer immediately delved into a coding question, skipping introductions. It seemed the interviewer had found a difficult LeetCode problem and expected the exact solution from the platform. They were not open to collaboratively working through the problem and instead hinted at the solution. The interviewer sounded quite annoyed when I presented a counterexample to their hint. I had a few variable name mismatches, indentation errors, and other typos. When I tried running my code, it encountered minor issues the first two times. The interviewer then gave me a final chance, stating, "This is your last try, or we are done!" How incredibly rude. Fortunately, it worked on the third attempt, which was quite amusing. Despite this, I was still rejected a couple of days later.
