I applied online and received a HackerRank challenge quite unexpectedly several weeks later. I reached out to the recruiter with questions about Airbnb and some administrative matters. They replied promptly the next day with the link to the HackerRank challenge.
Questions
The HackerRank challenge involved paginating a list of house listings passed in as an array. The goal was to turn the unsorted list of house listings into a series of pages, ordered by listing scores. Additionally, the solution had to ensure that all hosts were listed at least once on a page before any host could be repeated.
