Pros: You can make bank and go anywhere! Literally, just about anywhere.
I have also never seen better benefits that start on day 1.
There were times I hated it and there were times I loved it.
And above all, I don't regret working there for several years.
Cons: You have to be tough and not get offended when others you don't like are promoted before you.

Pros: The work proficiency required for most of the technical jobs is not that high.
Cons: Amazon's culture pushes you to always be in a rush.
Amazon is a very big company, and you can always apply for different internal positions. This doesn't mean you will be considered, and sometimes the decision of the interview panel isn't that clear.
