Process

I received an email from a recruiter and then scheduled an interview for the role. It was pretty straightforward.

The interviewer arrived 10 minutes late, apologized, and asked me two behavioral questions. If you are planning for an interview, practice a lot of behavioral questions.

I did not do well. However, towards the end, I asked the interviewer what they are doing to ensure people are taken care of, especially now with COVID. I was not satisfied with the answer. It seemed like I asked something they had never discussed. Management in my last company spent significant time trying to come up with ideas to support employees through these tough times.

I am sure working for Amazon would be satisfying, but I don't think they really care for their employees.
