I did an OA (Online Assessment) on HackerRank, which contained two questions: one easy and one difficult. I only managed to solve one.
After more than a month, I received feedback that I had passed to the next stage. Then, I did a Phone Screen Interview and advanced to the Onsite Interview.
The Recruiter called me to discuss some gaps I had in previous interviews. In previous attempts, I did well in the Leadership Principles interview, but I failed the technical part. Therefore, I took the opportunity to improve in that area.
During the interview, I managed to solve the four proposed problems satisfactorily. I already knew two of the four problems. The System Design part was excellent, as I already had in-depth knowledge of the subject.
After a few days, I received the rejection email. The recruiter called me (always very cordial and attentive, I believe this was the high point of my interviews) to inform me that I did very well in the technical part, exceeding the average. However, I did not pass the leadership principles, which prevented me from receiving the offer, despite having passed in this area in previous attempts.
