The first step is a screening call to judge if there is enough potential to spend the rest of the interview time.

This is followed by an initial interview, lasting one hour. This is the first behavioral interview you'll encounter.

If that goes well, you are asked to do a 'loop' as well as complete a writing assignment.

The writing assignment allows you to demonstrate your ability to write concisely, tell a story, use the STAR method, and showcase leadership principles. It's almost like another round of interview.

In my case, the loop consisted of 4 behavioral interviews and 1 system design interview, though the system design interview was also about 50% behavioral.

Following the loop, the internal team reviews, compares notes, and 'votes.' If this is positive, you'll hear from the recruiter within a week.
