As someone that was weary of working at Amazon because of the outside reputation I had read about, I am loving working here so far.
Yes, it is busy. Yes, it is hard. But, you are in charge of your own calendar and expected to be disciplined enough to say "no" and not overstretch/book yourself. If you know your stuff and/or are willing to learn, you will do well here.
Being on a team that is all virtual, it can be hard to get to know your teammates.
You have to make sure to go out of your way to get to know the people you work with. It will go a long way towards your long-term success (and pay).
