You are treated purely as a resource, allocated wherever there is urgent need for someone, even if you have no idea about the project.
Extreme frugality - they have "icecream day" but it doesn't last for more than 1 hour. Fruits disappear in 10 minutes. Offered headphones are still wired, and many other examples.
