Teams in Toronto are friendly from my experience.
Lots of opportunities within Amazon. You can move teams pretty easily if need be.
Be prepared to be phased out after 2 years and move elsewhere. Employees are not rewarded for staying.
If you are stuck in a tough situation (bad managers, reorgs, etc.), promotion can take a long time.
