Wouldn't recommend unless you are the work-grinding type
- Good on resume
- Work with large-scale systems
- Work with smart people
- Can't take a break (i.e. ping pong) without feeling like you're losing time on working.
- Not the best environment for learning because they are very harsh on mistakes. You can get in trouble for having comments on your PRs (they ideally want you to have 0 comments).
- Compared to other companies I've worked at, the atmosphere is terrible. It feels suffocating. I didn't even realize this until I joined another company.
- Amazon Chime (their version of Slack) is also terrible for socializing.
