Work-life balance is not healthy. You will easily work 60-80 hours a week if you want to be better than average.

Too much focus on promotions. Everyone is always evaluating how the given task will help them in promotion.

Not a lot of after-office camaraderie. People are loaded with work, and any free time goes to family. Even you developers do not like to spend time with team members. The company culture does not promote/sponsor too many events for team bonding.
We should sponsor more team travel and parties. It bonds the team like nothing else in a high-performance environment.
As they say, "Work hard and party harder."
