Everyone replies very quickly to messages/emails. I was very included in team meetings, and interns were given meaningful projects to work on. Interns get access to all of the training resources of full-time Amazonians, so I was able to learn about many fields outside of the one I worked in.
There are so many teams at Amazon that the environment definitely varies from team to team.
I had one online assessment that included an AWS cloud test as well as questions about the leadership principles. I then had a phone interview. After this, I received an unofficial offer letter. The assessment was not too bad.
