Performance Test Engineer (2001-2005)
- Hired me with no tech experience and no college education.
- Allowed me the opportunity to learn many new and cutting-edge technologies, which allowed me to advance within the team. In turn, AMD became a stepping stone to bigger and better jobs at other companies.
Salary was not competitive.
Expectations were unrealistic, and there was too much "good ole boy" cronyism going on in my group. This was from the 2001-2005 timeframe, and that team has all left for greener pastures.
